Russian President Vladimir Putin has officially weighed in on the Democratic Party’s relentless accusations that American President Donald Trump somehow “colluded” with the former Soviet Union to “hack” the 2016 presidential election in his favor.
Speaking to ABC News reporter Terry Moran during an exclusive interview, Putin stated that these never-ending allegations of collusion by the American Left were “invented” out of thin air by President Trump’s opposition in order to “delegitimize [Trump’s] time in office.”
Befuddled by the fact that anyone would even believe such baseless nonsense, Putin further added that the whole thing is really “strange” to him because there’s really nothing to be gained from such attacks – at least nothing that stands to benefit or in any way unify the fragmented United States.
“They don’t understand … (that) they undermine their own nation,” an English translation of Putin’s conversation reveals.
Though he says he respects the Democrats’ opposition to the American President, he believes that the Democratic Party is only alienating the President’s supporters by trying to undermine anything and everything he does. By constantly opposing America’s lawfully elected President, Putin added, the Democrats are also giving a big slap in the face to tens of millions of patriotic Americans.
“It limits the powers of the president who has been elected,” Putin stated about the consequence of this Democratic temper tantrum. “It means that they don’t have respect for those Americans who elected Donald Trump.”
But what about the allegations made by The New York Times (NYT) and others that President Trump’s campaign met with Russian officials back in 2016 before the election? According to Putin, this is nothing out of the ordinary, as Russia has long been meeting with political campaigns, including many for Democratic candidates.
“Why do you have this spy hysteria, Russia meddling hysteria?” Putin quipped during his interview, finding the whole thing rather humorous.
Wanting even more juicy details on his personal opinions, Moran proceeded to ask Putin what he thinks of President Trump’s accomplishments thus far – presumably in an attempt to bait him into some kind of damning admission of some shocking truth. But Putin had nothing all that groundbreaking to say.
“There’s been some major achievements in this short amount of time … look at the markets, the markets are up pretty strongly,” Putin stated, offering credit where credit is due. “That means that investors trust the American economy, that means they have a lot of confidence in it.”
For as much as many leftists seem to hate Putin, he’s admittedly done a lot of good for his own country – if you believe the rhetoric, anyway. Back in the spring of 2016, Putin openly condemned genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), vaccines, and more when asked about the biggest threats to mankind in the modern age.
“We as a species have the choice to continue to develop our bodies and brains in a healthy upward trajectory, or we can follow the Western example of recent decades and intentionally poison our population with genetically altered food, pharmaceuticals, vaccinations, and fast food that should be classified as a dangerous, addictive drug,” an official report released by the Kremlin reads.
“We must fight this. A physically and intellectually disabled population is not in our interests.”
The Putin administration further highlights how many Western nations like the United States that have adopted these and other forms of mass poisoning are now suffering the consequences as their populations see increasing rates of chronic illness and fatal disease. Wishing to keep Russia separate from this destruction, Putin’s government reportedly decided to give away arable land for free to citizens who wish to grow clean, non-GMO foods.
